In 1977, Star Wars : A New Hope was released. With the words "A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away..." the first and the most successful (box office wise) movie of the Star Wars Trilogy was born. What was to come next is movie history, the makings of a classic. It featured a cast of almost unknowns but captured the hearts of movie audiences all around the world.

From the first Star Destroyer chase scenes, to the destruction of the Death Star, audiences were taken to a fantasy world where battle exists between good and evil. The story follows the adventure of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) as he and the Jedi Master Obi Wan Kenobi (Alec Guinness), with the help from smuglers Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Chewbacca, embarked on a dangerous journey to rescue Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) from the evil clutches of Lord Darth Vader (voice provided by James Earl Jones).

For those who missed it the first time, Director/Producer George Lucas set out in 1997, the 20th aniverssary of the Star Wars Trilogy, to create a refurbished version of the timeless classic, the Special Edition. It featured new scenes, new music, and more fantastic special effects that we have taken to expect from the people at Industrial Light and Magic. Following this, two more movies were made and followed a similar trend of success, but to fans, nothing captures the Star Wars experience better than A New Hope.
