Fans of Star Wars have been patiently awaiting the arrival of
the new Star Wars prequels (or prequelogy). Set before the events
of ANH, the story follows the lifes of Anakin Skywalker and his
path towards the Dark Side of the force. Also featured are a
young Emperor, the young Obi Wan, and of course, R2-D2 and 3 CPO.
Episode One is going to be released in May 1999 with two other movies released in 3 year
intervals (ie. in 2002 and 2005). Below is the official cast of
characters, for more information visit : He will be playing a
Jedi Master like Obi Wan. Liam, as many of you know was
nominated for an Academy Award(R) for his excellent
performance in Steven Spielberg's Schindler's List. His
recent films include Michael Collins. He is probably the
only major actor in the movie (just like Alec Guinness in
the original Trilogy). He is cast as the
young Obi Wan Kenobi, Jedi Master of Anakin and student
of Yoda. He has worked in theater and some movies, and I am
told, he's quite popular in the UK and Ireland(and to everyone who saw Trainspotting, Thanks to Ashley Wootton for that piece of information). She will be
playing a young queen. Her more recent roles include some musicals and in
Mars Attack!, playing the President's (Jack Nicholson)
daughter (you know, one of the few who survives the alien
invasion). Other movies include Heat with Robert De Niro
and Beautiful Girls with Uma Thurman. Jake portrays the
young (very young) Anakin Skywalker (before the mask and
cape). He has co-starred with Arnold Schwarzenegger in
Jingle All the Way. His TV work includes an re-occuring
role in E.R and the Pretender. Exactly
